It was my nephew Luukas’ graduation (from high school) this past weekend. These are a few photos that the professional photographer took which I thought were so fabulous! Doesn’t he look like a model? Of course I’m completely biased!

Here are all 3 of my nephews together! I have 3 sisters and so far the next generation is all boys! My baby sister Elizabeth is having her second in November so we are holding out for a niece.
This is me, arriving at the outdoor patio before the ceremony Friday evening. First time I have ever worn this colour, what do you think? Can I pull it off? My mother was so happy to see me wearing colour she said I looked like sunshine walking in (but she's most definitely biased) I say the jury’s still out on this one. . .
Here’s Noah sharing his ice cream with me while we were waiting to go to the event (it is so rare to find me in a skirt--only in the summer).

geez, the drama of that couple is endless. my front door smells of eggs and grapefruit juice. now i have to go buy a new welcome mat. i really liked my welcome mat.

Aren't families just so fun. As the layers of generations unfold you can't help but be happy with them and for them.
The yellow works because you added the white closer to your face. With this technique you can wear any color and have fun with it.

i’ve always thought blondes look good in yellow... but i can see that the skin tone has also something to do with it (you’re more fair skin). this shade of yellow however seems to suit you very well. (and bette is right about the white, if in doubt)
and btw, on a super rainy day like today i think you should wear that sweater and be that sunshine your mom was seeing in you! (and it’s probably worse on the north shore)

The color rendering of the photos is beautiful! My nephew just graduated from high school. It brought back so many memories. Particularly him in diapers and how old I must be to remember that!!!
