Then I went to 6 florists in Vancouver the day before the photo shoot. Why did it take six? Because I wanted it to have the eggplant colour in it and do you know how hard it is to find an eggplant coloured flower? Impossible actually, it was some type of foliage in the end. And I even had to tweak it at the last minute to try and make it look like the magazine cover because it was huge when I arrived to pick it up (I should have taken a picture :) and not at all like the image I left.
Oh well, the flowers were right and that is all that mattered to me.
So back to the contest! I realized I better write a quick post tonight because the deadline is not far away!
