A Pink Tablescape with Sarah Richardson

I saw this table setting in a recent Style at Home Magazine and in the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month I thought I’d post it.

image I’m always drawn to creatively styled tables and I loved the way the napkins were simply folded underneath each bowl of sliced pink grapefruit!  And as you can see by the copy on the image, the placemats were a bargain from IKEA for $2.00.

  1. Pretty in pink placements I agree. There's something really beautiful about pure pink. It's association for us all starts very early in life. Even if the textures change in fabrics, clothing and softscapes in landscaping and even a sunset glows softness. Which means we're all tender on the inside.

  8. I got lost looking at all the tablescapes on 'between naps on the porch'. . . . now that I'm back. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful pink napkins folded under the plate. What a lovely way to place napkins at a table.
