and i love the quotes absolutely.. :) they are beautiful.. being a book junkie.. well yes i get easily hooked as well.. novels.. classics.. biographies.. paulo coelho.. anything.. as long as it is not too dull and lulling.. factual u can say.. ummmm fav hard to say.. into south asian writers these days though.. :) tehy are great.. i think everyone should read "The Kite runner" by khaled Mohsini.. for asian audience largely.. but great piece of work

awesome shelves... hmmm... my favorite book just might be Sati by Christopher Pike. (He's usually a teen writer who I've been reading since I was 10 but it's one of his few adult books and it's just amazing.)

I love the look of books displayed on both the vertical and horizontal. And the orange flowers you added to the shelving are great little hits of colour :-)

My favourite book is probably National Velvet. I haven't read it for years, but I've read it through from front to back multiple times.

Very fun bookcase with all it's different levels, nooks, etc. And of course, what I've come to know as "Maria Orange"... your (and - as it happens - my) favourite colour!!
Right now I'm reading one of my daughter's "young adult" books and loving it - probably because it's fantasy/sci-fi!! Give me a little make-believe to draw me away from the real world!!

My favorite book is A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. It was published 10 years after the author's death and won the Pulitzer a year later in 1981. It's an hilarious story of bizarre, but lovable characters living (and not working much) in New Orleans. Talk about local color, this book is Pantone deck full of it.
